There have always been lots of rumors about this creep. Where there is smoke there is fire.

PRO-ABORTION SENATOR KIRK COLLABORATING WITH ILLINOIS' PLANNED PARENTHOOD?

By Jill Stanek -
On August 3, U.S. Senator Mark Kirk was the lone* Republican to vote against a measure to defund Planned Parenthood, this despite horrific revelations from, at that point, four undercover videos showing various Planned Parenthood high level executives admitting - bragging even - about selling aborted baby parts for profit.
The fallout among Illinois conservatives was immediate. This was a bridge too far. By the next morning former Congressman Joe Walsh was being mentioned as a primary contender. I spoke with Walsh yesterday, who confirmed he is considering a run.
"Kirk can't win, and he shouldn't be running for reelection," Walsh told me. "Somebody needs to beat him in the primary, and it's something I'm seriously thinking about, out of principle."
Former Congressman Bobby Schilling penned an op ed in the Chicago Tribune imploring Kirk to reconsider his position. He, too, agreedsomeone needs to challenge Kirk, and rumor has it that someone could be him.
By the night of August 5, Kirk was feeling the heat. One of his campaign staffers forwarded Fran Eaton, editor of Illinois Review, what appears to be the only known copy of the following press release. It is not and never has been on his website, nor has it been sent to anyone else that we know of. This is because it contains a glaring oopsie. See if you can spot it:
Subject: Fwd: Kirk, Collins, Murkowski Introduce S.1917 to Investigate Planned Parenthood Date: August 5, 2015 at 7:10:34 PM CDT To: Fran Eaton:

People throw the "Rino" label around way too easily these days, kind of like the word "racist". But Kirk truly fits the bill. Besides being a defense hawk, and fiscally not insane like the Democrats, he may as well be a Democrat. When he would not even endorse, let alone campaign for Oberweiss in our State - that was when it really hit me. He is embarrassed to be a Republican. He would rather have Dick "Barney Rubble" Durbin as our Senator than a successful conservative businessman. With his vote for Planned Parenthood he finally and unforgivably exposed his true colors. I will not vote for him again. And I am one who generally believes that even a half Republican is better than a Democrat...He is about 10-15 percent on a good day. He will not be our Senator next year. He will either drop out, lose in the primary, or lose the general election. We might as well drop him now in the primary to have a chance at keeping the seat.
