Rand Paul is all flash, buzz words and photo ops. Nothing else.

Rand Paul is completely fed up with all of the attention being given to GOP rival Donald Trump and goes as far to say Trump’s rise in the polls is a brief “loss of sanity.”
Thursday on CNN, the Kentucky senator said at some point, Americans need to get serious about who the future president is going to be.
“I think this is a temporary sort of loss of sanity,” Paul said. “But we’re going to come back our senses and look for somebody serious to lead the country at some point,” Paul said.
He also went after Trump’s proposal to have Mexico pay for a wall along the border.
“They’re hungry for someone who will tell the truth, who will say Washington is broken and that we really have to start over … wash out the place,” Paul said of the voters currently supporting Trump. “But the thing is, we also have to have a serious discussion of how we’re going to do it.”
Paul has been struggling in recent polls and told anchor Wolf Blitzer that his soft numbers — along with Trump’s rise — can largely be attributed to the media.
“Television works, Wolf,” Paul said when asked about the polls. “If you would give some other candidates time from eight in the morning ’til eight at night — all day long, every day for three weeks — I’m guessing some other candidates might rise as well.”
After getting huge amounts of attention for taking on the Patriot Act with a filibuster in May, the buzz around Paul’s campaign has fizzled recently.
However, earlier this month, he did manage to make a splash by setting fire to the tax code.
