Sorry Bill but I think 5000 tank cars every week is an unacceptable risk to the neighborhood. This is wrong.

1000 tank cars a day with a drop off on the weekends, equals 5000 tank cars rolling through the neighborhood every week. Made possible in part, by a state senator who accepts campaign contributions from CSX RR and Grand Trunk RR rather than use his power to gain some oversight over what these corporate giants are quietly doing.

What are these tankers carrying? See the below list.

Now for the big question? Do any of them leak? What are the chances that none of them ever leak?

Bill, what were you thinking?

    I am disappointed that we elected Dan Lipinski, somehow.

    Who is electing and renting him?
    CSX Corp. $12,500.00 (second largest "donor" or "renter"). This publicly traded railway company.
    Honeywell International $11,000.00. In railway business.
    Berkshire Hathaway. $10,000.00. Remember I was just mentioning on Buffet invested BILLIONS in rail.
    Blue Dog PAC. $10,000.00. (puke)
    Union Pacific Corp. $9,000.00. Runs country's if not North America's largest railroad.
    Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. $9,000.00.

    TOP FIVE DONORS/RENTERS
    Air Transport
    Transportation Unions
    RAILROADS $57,900.00

    A Republican in a Democratic clothing who slipped into his seat through Daddy (let's use a big D here) and uses the D for Democrat to get elects is the tool of corporate interests. Big ones too. And it turns out to be rail. Perhaps Murph was onto to something but targeted the wrong person?

      I know that Ed Maloney has a few pensions and such but he would NEVER EVER take tainted money. At the end of the day, he was a man of honor.

      I think my posting this is misleading some.

      My point is:

      LIPINSKI is a funded by these groups. I have no idea bout Cunningham. I know that I WILL BE VOTING FOR CUNNINGHAM AND NOT LIPINSKI.

      LIPINSKI = BAD

      CUNNINGHAM = GOOD

      Please do not censor this, Murph! People are not reading that these are DAN LIPINSKI'S SPECIAL INTERESTS.

    you are over exaggerating because you don't like bill Cunningham, it is personal with you...Cunningham only took some money from CSX... $5,000 over a few years, so..big deal! most politicians receive well intended donations from constituents so they can carry their messages back to their communities during election cycle, but your claims are wreck less, you know where his money came from and he did not take money from Burlington northern or Canadian pacific, only CSX. so STOP your lying

    I have a Question, instead of telling lies about Cunningham, why are the Republicans starting coming into OUR neighborhood and stealing all of our: Cunningham, Hurley & Quinn signs and defacing them?, you know the republicans are stealing the signs of our neighborhoods hero's, the hero's who work tirelessly for our police fire and teachers? how come your not on here talking about that Murph?
    instead of bemoaning our heroes Cunningham, Quinn and Obama all the time! enough Murph!

    Nationwide, about 5% of chemical train cars leak. It falls to the ground and evaporates.

    Murph, what's your beef with Cunningham? It's obviously very personal. He's fighting hard, along with Fran and Matt, everyday for our neighborhood. He's one of the few independent dems in Springfield, voting against the party many times. Most recently against SB 16. Is this a Tom Dart thing, is that why you hate him so much? You tell so many lies about this guy, I think it's backfiring on you. I have never seen or heard so much pro Cunningham talk in the neighborhood as I have in the past few weeks. Have you ever met and spoken with Bill? He's a pretty good guy, and he really loves the people of our neighborhood.

    Cunningham should be criticized for taking money from the railroads, but I have to give him credit.
    He took no money from Personal PAC, a pro-abortion group.

    One of our state rep candidates took more than $6400.00 from this group which promotes death for unborn people.

    Cunningham is NOT endorsed by Personal PAC, unlike the state rep candidate who is endorsed by Personal PAC.

    I was showing who LIPINSKI'S biggest campaign contibutors were.

    NOT Cunnigham's. I cannot stand Lipinski. I will vote for Cunningham.

    I was showing that it is federal CONGRESSMAN DAN LIPINSKI taking money from rail.

    N-O-T State SENATOR Bill Cunningham.
