It is not that I am opposed to teachers. I defend them. Still, besides certain federal judges, what other profession provides these summers off? Firemen constantly have these days off.

CPS is a blackhole money vacuum the teachers are just glorified babysitters free breakfast and lunch for students while the families collect food stamps and welfare " I can't feed my child breakfast or lunch trade the foodstamp funds for booze and cash at the arab corner store" so disgusting now they get preference for city jobs while I work two jobs to live in this shithole city.
If people only knew how f____ Up that school system has become these past many years. People like her who champion the cause of education are complete frauds with think tanks and foundations that fuel money into the schools and unions to simply window dress.The biggest joke are the IB programs and the University of Chicago shams and scams influenced by Bill Ayer and his kid brother. Both were pals with our Commander in Chief. One of these days the left will endorse vouchers and that will help initially at the margins. Many parochial schools fail kids as well. St. Mathias just started an IB middle school and that is worth watching given the diversity of that community. Another school worth watching in Lake County named for perhaps the most insightful man of the 20th century. Chesterton!
