Will they ever stop pushing?

  1. It would be refreshing if the union (what about the policemen's union, etc. -- you never hear much about them) actually came up with a plan. And why is it that recently it was reported that the investment vehicle for teachers at the state level returned 1% on their investment in the market? Exactly who is managing their pension? Some tool. They need to realize, as all public unions need to realize, that the us versus them model is extinct. Why is their no criticism on their part of the city's corporate welfare, for instance? The new model has to involve the community at large -- including the rich -- backing away from the trough.
