During the past few months, Fran Hurley has put considerable effort into a series of legal maneuvers intended to prevent local voters from having a choice on the election of a state representative. Those efforts came to a halt yesterday when a Cook County judge ruled Ricardo Fernandez could be on the November ballot. Read the rest of the story at The Beverly Review. If only she would put this type of effort into improving 95th street.
New Harold's Chicken Shack coming to 95th street. She can probably claim credit for that under whatever name or title she is going by now as a city payroller running for statewide office.
ReplyDeleteThis seems to be the way of things: if you don't like the way people vote, do everything you can to make sure they don't vote. If you don't like the competition, make sure they can't be competitive. I don't know Hurley, but she strikes me as a placeholder, and these legal acrobatics come from higher-ups (all the more reason to vote against her).

ReplyDeleteSo ok the courts in their stupidity, ruled to allow fernandez to remain on the ballot, who cares, i would place Fran Hurleys credentials up against senior Fernendez any day of the week.
look at her long history of service to Beverly and Mt greenwood.
She has given dozens of her hours to working with all the sports programs in our community, and she does tirelessly supports Brother rice, Marist, Mother McCauley and St. Xavier.
she cannot control who wants to donate to her better government.
she will continue to be a fine leader

I think the war is on the unborn ye radical Mary. Such a traditional name and such a lefty point of view. your Irish grand pappies would hurl their guinness if they ever thought the future would be peppered with Chicago Irish Catholic Democrats promoting abortion. The truth is that if we had a time machine and travelled back 60 or 70 years in time and told them - they would laugh us back to the future! They would not have even been able to conceive of such turncoats.

She has never done anything she didn't get paid for. Calls herself a single mother. Single mothers are mothers that haven't been married. She is divorced. She gets child support She said in literature she was a teacher. She has no license on record. She shows up at church only for votes. Pro abortion, gay marriage, etc. She is a fraud just like a lot of the women in Beverly. You, her and her other friend working on husband number five are perfect for each other.

During the primary she was running against fire fighter Tony Martin and she then claimed she was engaged to a Chicago fireman. Now she claims to be this hardworking single mother who struggled with 2 jobs to raise her kids on her own. Very disrespectful to the father of her children, who bear his last name. She is basically calling him a deadbeat dad. if she was working so hard at 2 jobs and dating another fireman, then where did she get all the time to do so much volunteer work?
