If a tree falls somewhere other than on Damen, is there someone there to hear it?

There are over 200 trees down in Beverly and another 50 in Mt. Greenwood. What is the Bureau of Forestry doing about this? Hard at work you say? Other wards were hit even harder? True. Then why were the remains of a tree removed from the parkway in front of a house at 100th and Damen? A house belonging to the daughter of a local politician, when branches in front of other houses on that block, in the vicinity, are still lying there. Perhaps the alderman's office can give us a count of how many other trees have been removed. It's hard to believe that blatant favoritism is taking place in 2010.
